Galera makes an ideal alternative to the overcrowded beach resorts that bear little resemblance to the real Spain. Galera is surrounded by a number of national parks, which are considered to be the best in Spain. The unique accommodation combined with the scenery, lakes, hot springs and traditional Spanish lifestyle, make this a refreshing and welcome change.

Within walking distance you can reach the village bars and restaurants. The food is of good quality and the prices will be much cheaper than at the coastal resorts. The locals are very friendly and although you can get by with just talking in English, you will have more fun and it will be appreciated if you try a little Spanish.
